After an outstanding 2024 for stocks, sentiment abruptly reversed in Q1, with global markets tumbling in response to a rapid market rotation and soaring uncertainty. The previously untouchable US stock market collapsed, while the notoriously weak European markets rapidly revived as rising US recession fears met stretched valuations.
